ERROR LOADING FILE 796

What is the problem! Every time that I download a plain and simple gamemaker six file and save it, close the download when it is done downloading, open my documents, open downloaded software, open gm stuff, open the folder I put the file in, open the file, or just open it strait from gamemaker, it still says "Error Loading File, The File Seems To Be Corrupted". This is annoying. There is this example on laganoth.com (sorry chicken, I don't know if I spelled that right) that I really want and still, without luck, "Error Loading File, The File Seems To Be Corrupted". Should I re-install gamemaker to try and fix the problem? I don't know, but this is really annoying. Thanks for your help anyone who can help.

New Example

I made a new inventory example which hopefully will be a bigger success than the platform example I made. This inventory example has a pop out inventory with delete, cancel, and use functions for every one of the items that you may have in your inventory. I think it is cool. Now we just have to await approval or dis-approvle…waiting…still waiting…been waiting for two days (before I posted this blog)…still waiting…nope, havn't gotten an approval/dis-approval email yet…lol, hope it comes soon, well, it says it could take like a week I think.
