Photoshop Goodness

Posted by Tyranic-Moron on Oct. 19, 2006, 12:59 p.m.

Or rather, Paint Shop Pro 8 goodness :P

I've been quite busy lately with random art projects I keep thinking up, so here's a sampling (none are full-size, tell me if you want to see the bigger versions):

(yup, they're all me XD)

(I always win :P)

(how awesome am I?)

(I saved the best till last :D)

So, how'd you like all that?

The two photo manipulations took about 2 hours each, and the Space art took about 10 hours each :P… I have too much spare time

So, what are everyone else's photoshop skills like? Be interesting to see some of the 64D people's work.

*EDIT* Just discovered how to find out who has added you to their favourite users list. I apparently have 41 people who have me on their list, and they are:

LMAO at PM. Um I think you need to work on the shading of your planets, because they look to flat to me. They are actually kind of boring. Planets should be breath taking, like this http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/20493644/?qo=35&q=by%3Afrozenashes&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps

@marbs - You could get 'The GIMP', weird layout, but better than paint :P

@bendodge & smaksak - Yeah, I was trying to perfect my technique for atmospheres with that one. Guess it paid off :D

@Polystyrene Man - Say wha? Oh I get it… heh

@Kaz - Thanks :D

@OpticalLiam - From your games, I'd have to agree with you :P

@Maxcore - These aren't the full size images you know. And that image you linked wasn't that awesome an example. I aspire more to stuff like these: In Darkness Light

The Icarus Trilogy

@bob799 - As I said, way too much spare time :D

Too much spare time! 10 freaking hours for each planet! But they look cool.

How do you see who has added you to their favorites list? Apparently I have at least 10, but I only know who two or three of them are.

I like the last picture, but I sort of prefer the second-to-last one.

Wow. You remind me of the white and nerdy :P

Do you draw it pixel by pixel or you have an advanced graphic making software? It took me a while to realize that all the people in the first two pictures are the same person. I have done that. I made a picture of myself with four of me. But they were not overlapping. I have done it a little with video even, but not with them overlapping. I like to do photoshop art, I don't have photoshop, but I use this photo software I got with the computer when we bought it in 2002. It's okay. It's PhotoStudio 2000. It has some pictures, like the manual select and the pixel color magic wand thing.

EDIT: What you said photoshop skills, never mind about my question.

Hhahaha, who makes that kind of art pixel by pixel? Actually one of my friend thought that same thing when he was just a kid :D

But back to topic: Nice! That second planet was really flat-like as Maxcore said, but otherwise, really nice!
