Yup, me again. I began a project last night, out of boredom, and only after 2 hours of development, I'd say it's looking good. It's got 5 different enemy types, 1 boss, and 2 ship types put in the game. I've probably got a small storyline figured out, just for those that want a reason for blasting through the place, blowing everything up.

It's the year 2617 AD, and a rip in dimensions has recently been detected. Scout ships were sent through the rip, and came back with amazing news - A new race of people has been discovered, and named the twilight, due to their mysterious dark aura that they appear to give off of their pitch black skin. Soon after, ambassadors were sent by the truckload to greet the twilight, and the ambassadors… Never came back. They were at once, dubbed a hostile race, and an army was built up to assualt them, as well as sending scouts to scan their planet on their technology, and once again, they were astonished. Their technology was far better than the human's current technology, and their defenses were rock solid. And even more shocking, the twilight were building an army of their own to attack! The race for humanity was then dubbed right there, in danger of extinction. There was a small flicked of hope, as the military has made attempts to clone the twilight's technology, and they have come up with a special prototype, that can absorb undamaged weapons, to increase the ships power. Hope was increased, but it was ended shortly when they received an alert that the twilight were now beginning the long journey through the dimensional rip! And as the best space pilot on their force, you were selected to fly the prototype out and hold their forces off as long as possible. Your briefing has been finished, and now you're walking towards the fresh prototype, with masses of people cheering for your safe return. You jump in, rev up the boosters, and prime the weapons - it's time for a helluva stand off.
Why not post a demo here?
"Mars has become inhabitable,"
It loses it's impact if it isn't inhabitable now.Eh, fine. Edited it up a bit.
Sounds cool!
The story sounds pretty promising,(I wish I could make a decent story for the games I work on…)EDIT: Nevermind… Its a vertical shooter…Still… a 2-bit shooter sounds pretty cool…
