[VH] It's ranting season once again.

Note : 10K hits, fun stuff.

You heard me - It's ranting season. Get your wall-of-text swords up and ready, cuz I've got a nice old fashioned rant for you fellows.

Depression. It happens to everyone, it can become a matter of life and death, and it's oh-so very common. Wanna know why I'm ranting over it? Because I've seen twinsoul's recent blog, and the first few posts, and I'm already disgusted. Some members find it funny to just be an asshole and deny their cry for comfort. -cough-Sk8m8rix-cough- It's simply disgraceful to see others cast them out and hurt them where it hurts the most when growing up - Their emotions.

Emotions, in my mind, are like our only true asset that makes us human. But it is which also makes up our true weakness. We laugh when we do something enjoyable, we smile when you see or feel pleasant, and, most importantly, we cry, fear, and hate that which hurts or threatens to harm what we laugh at, what we smile at, and what we love. Fear and anger are the two emotions that are made up to be like meteors that hurdle towards the center of your well being and can destroy it almost instantly, if hit hard enough. What triggers these sorts of meteors to be launched there is something like rejection, loneliness, or the loss of something you love.

These meteors, once launched at the mind, can be stopped. It takes a period of time, based on the size of what caused the meteor to be created, to hit the mind and do its work. Once the meteor is created, there is normally a period of denial, not realizing what had just happened and act as if it was a normal day. It's not the same for more major cases, but then there is the second stage, the longest of them as well. Depression, is easily noticed, and people normally have a sort of impulse to help their fellow man, and help to stop the depression, or from what most of the people here tend to do, put them down, and make them feel worse, normally even try to force them to that point, and it disgusts me to see people - even some of my good friends - do this sort of thing.

Based on what happens above, are 2 paths. One for the people that reach up and grasp for hope, and pull themselves out of the pit of depression, and the other… You should know. The creator of that one game, city of destruction or something like that, committed suicide out of depression.

Now then, what you say, can decide one of the two paths above. I'm out of words for now, so ciao. And if you didn't read the whole wall, shame on fucking you. >_>

I read it. once I saw the title I knew you were gonna mention my blog. Complicated metaphor. Still, it's good to know there are those who help me.

Myeah, there's always something that triggers my rants.

Emotions are a stupid waste of energy and processing power.

The metaphor works better if you replace the meteors with ducks.

Seriously.

Emotions shaped you, GearGOD… so your philosophy is baseless unless you are a broken condom…

I hate people who are insensitive as to not care when somebody is depressed. I mean, sure, I can insult but if they're in a tight corner why the fuck make them feel worse?

To err is human but to forgive is divine. Remember that, retards.

not when you wear them on your sleave like a frigin badge of honour. Thats why you get trashed. everyone feels depression and lonlyness. They dont want someone else's thrown in their face.

So best to discuss those deepest fears with a close friend – not on a fourum. It just invites other sad losers to flame you. you don't deserve that.
