Oh lord, I saw this day coming. apparently Ross was kind enough to bring it to fruition, lol. The dreaded day we would see who is the most awesome on 64D.
Tournaments were never my thing when it was based on public opinion. It's kinda like that feeling when you know that you're getting picked out for a dodgeball game and you're of course the last person picked. Makes me feel a little bad inside, I actually had a situation like that for groups in english the other day. I read the most in that class. Who gets picked last? Me? You're probably wondering WDF on that note there, if I am probably the one getting the highest grades in that class and am still picked last, but that's the way I'm thinking of this tournament right now… It's not a pleasent feeling. For my current foresight of how this will end for me, let's leave it at… Well, I have never won anything if it isn't video game related. NEVER. Not even in one of those "Everyone wins!" Kinds of games, I literally have never won anything. If it was a video game tournament, I could probably fare better off, but… Well, the knowledge of seeing that I'm able to get inside of one of these tournaments alone is pretty nice. Win or lose, I'm pretty happy over it.—–LIFE—–Erm. Well, awkward situation I've been thrown into. Allow me to start from the beginning.I haven't been able to tell you guys that in may, 1st through 9th, I'm supposed to visit some cousin's wedding off in california. Seemed absolutely irrelevant to my current interests, and completely forgot about it. 1 month later, I meet linda and begin dating her. 1 month after that, I ask her to prom. She says yes, and now things are looking up for me even more than they ever have. Remember waaaay back when we didn't even have 1K users? That brittany girl that I was absolutely head over heels for? I'm now doing far better than I originally was.So I go out, help her buy a prom dress (It is an amazing prom dress, at that.) get ourselves prepared for prom, until about 3 days ago.Remember my last blog how I was ranting over the tickets and how unreliable the staff was? I finally got the tickets, but what proceeded was pretty stunning. I return home with the tickets, and show my dad, until his jaw drops down to the floor, and his eyes just went into a "I can't fucking believe this" kind of look, and then pointed out the date."Did you know the prom was on may second?" "Yeah, why? there's something wrong?" "You're supposed to be at your cousins wedding on that day!"Oh.… Well shit.I was thinking most of my plans went right down the shitcan with that right there. However, my parents had different things in mind. They believed that since it was my senior prom and I've already come this far, there's no reason to drag me off to some boring wedding in the middle of california. So, may 1st through 9th, I get my home to myself, I go to the senior prom, and everything flies smoothly. Sweet.—–Gaming—–I got back into SnY, no thanks to rawrspoon (You know I love you) and apparently have not lost my touch. If there's one thing I've noticed, every one of JakeX's (Now Reqium) games, I've become one of the best players, if not the best, in those games. It's outrageous how quickly I adapt to his games. But that's a story for another time, I've probably typed so much even a hardcore blogger would not want to read this.—–TL;DR VERSION—–1. Popularity contests, and how I think I suck at them. But I managed to get nominated into one, so I'm happy for that.2. I get the house to myself for over a full week during prom week. Can someone say "House party"?3. I kick ass at JakeX's games.Ya can't find that delicious truth anywhere else~~V~
I read the blog in its tl;dr version. :]
Party like you have the house to yourself for a week! You made the Top 32 and Top 25, cheer up good man.
Glad to see things are looking up for at least someone.
I might be beating you in the popularity contest, but you're frying my ass at everything else. I found out today that I'm not going to get to go to prom this year, which is on the same day.And I really, really suck at JakeX's games.I acknowledge you as my superior.Nice of your parents. You may want to delete the "house party" remark, though, in case they read this. :D
Fuck prom. Yay for having 1000 better things to do that day.
@RC Lol, I won't be doing that though, because I'd be the only one on clean-up i I were to do that. And god knows how hard that would be.
@Ross That's pretty much what I conclude up there, that I'm glad I managed to even get into a popularity contest. XD@Obel Damn dude, I need to read blogs on here more and stop playing so many games - I'm not even up to date with alot of people blogging here. o_o@Jabberwock Oh, they don't even know this site exists. And if they knew it did, the 4 month downtime would have thrown them off.@Sk8 A thousand of which could probably be done any other day. Senior prom is once, and even if my date were to leave me, I would still go.You know you want to party.
Just do it, it'll be a blast.Your parents earn some awesome points on that one :D
Damn dude, Obel acknowledged you his superior. That could help you in that popularity contest :p
