My greatest triumphs were archived there, none of the complicated things I created today, but some of the most simplistic… And most wonderful projects I ever created. Was I amazing at programming and creating games? Gods no, they were glitchy as fuck. But after a long 4 years, I finally look back on it today, wondering… Where did it all go to hell? I had a flawless idea. Perhaps it was utterly destroyed after seeing Ogmo. Perhaps I wanted something more complicated than a platformer with no weapons. But looking back on it all, I had amazing ideas. Runter could've become a simply amazing creation, but with my desire for more difficult levels came more twists, more weapons, simply more. And I couldn't cater to my desires.I look at these ancient works and see them as jewels covered in dust, waiting to be repolished, and seen as the true gems that they are.I plan to recreate the one named Carsons platformperil, which was later on supposed to be named 'Rick'. It was my first, and if I had the knowledge I have today back then, it might've rocked Ogmo out of the spotlight. But… I digress. Take a look and download the stuff located there if you want, consider it a graveyard for my imagination.Daemon's journey was another grand creation, and it followed the simple ideas I originally made for it. The boss battles weren't just maddeningly hard, but they involved a bit of skill. 'Specially the final boss first phase, I fell in love at how well I orchestrated it.Runt AKA Runter was probably the greatest thing I had ever made. Introducing the style of 2 main characters with different abilities being controlled by one person, and using them both to reach a single end point was one of the most strategic and best creations I had ever made.Remember the decompiler drama? I wish I had gotten my hands on such a thing for GM 5 and (maybe) 6, then I could easily repolish them…~V~
i love freewebs
razormage, what an awesome nameI always wished I had a website to show all my work in GM. *sees how many games I made* oh that's why I never got to it
You could just remake them from scratch, right? I mean, since you have more experience you could program them better. If you want the decompiler that was around, PM, I think I got it somewhere in my hdd.
@Kyou It's 5 years old, the only archive that holds those games that old.
@Dabridge It could be something as simple as remaking them, but knowing myself, I would want to throw in new elements. My own little curse, I suppose.@Josea Sounds good.too lazt to google. :P
