New Features

Ok, well, I (and foslock) have done some work on the lighting system in my game. The shape and quality of the light has been improved, and you can now turn off the light to add a stealthy take on things.

One of the new features I've been working on is squad controls. Basically you'll have three squad members, and you can tel them to do things. Right now I have 'follow', 'hold', and 'move to point'. Does anyone have any suggestions for other commands?

Also, I might add vehicles. I've already made a sprite for a jeep truck looking thing. It looks pretty good, in my opinion, but I'm still not sure if I'll use it, since I don't think there's going to be very many missions that take place outside.

And if I do have some outside missins, do you guys prefer like city type environments, or more of an open battlefield?

Heh… Nice BMP banner, Viper. Just to let you know, .BMP's aren't generally appreciated, but since yours is a small size, it's fine.

Oh, ok, I'll change it anyways.

I prefer a mix of city and open areas. Some trees and broken up buildings go nicely in open areas.
