Yeah, you heard me. I was taken to Gamestop at 6:00 a.m. this morning, and got to be the sixteenth one to preorder the Wii from that store. I paid almost everything up front, with the exception of 200 dollars on the Wii. All in all, it cost me around 208 dollars of the 260 dollars I took. The wait was long, the wait was exasperating, but I did it. November 19th is my day. I will be at that very same Gamestop in a line to get my Wii at midnight.
Heh, the first few posts were quite funny. So lets start answering the questions. First, for foslock, I already have a brother and he's a big enough pain in the neck already. No offense to you. and ultim8p00, don't even try. My mind is like an enigma. For Snakeman, it cost 50 dollars for a reservation and 200 dollars at launch day to get a preorder. And I have a question for Ace02. How can you already have one when the US is the first to get them and they don't come out till November 19th? For gml_josea, that should work. During christmas, we're expecting to get 3 million more Wiis. For Viper, I pity you. For Arcalyth, same case. For Chiken, HOW HAVE YOU HAD ONE FOR THREE DAYS? For MrPacman, that would probably be the case. Also, was that 3:50 a.m. or p.m.? For Biggoron, I really don't want to brag. Sorry if I made you feel jealous. It's kind of like Sony delaying launch of PS3 in Britain, only a little better.
I'm getting the Wii in november. [=D]
Having the Wii right away may not be a good thing there might be some recalls later on or there might be some flaws with the early system. But I hope I can find enough money by the end of the year.
I will hopefully be able to get mine a week or 2 after it comes out (I cant pre-order cause I will be in indiana on Nov. 19)
that it true, penguin dude, almost all of the early 360's had bugs. I don't care though. I will try to get one anyways.
