Hi 64 Digiters,
This is my first post. I joined up to participate in the spring competition. I'm a indie game dev. currently working on my first indie title (specifying that because I have some non-indie experience) under the company name NE1Games. That title is a long process though and it seemed like it might be fun to actually tackle something I could finish. ;)My intention is to post some here as I make progress on the competition game but I blog weekly about my main project and there's a lot to do on that so we'll see how well I can keep up here. Either way I'll be following along with any posts people drop about the competition. I'm going to avoid details for now on what I'm working on so I can hammer out a few design ideas and get something in the editor. I can say I'll be working in Game Maker Studio (so the game will be 2D). I've gotten to know GM fairly well and decent 3d art is still not in my skill set so it's the easiest choice for me.Anyway, glad to be here and good luck to everyone on their projects.Xorrel (NE)Totally Resisting "Hello World!" Wow you have a ton of favorite users for 1 day of use! :P
Good luck!Welcome, guy! Hope you like your stay here. And good luck!
Welcome to 64digits, thanks for the fav, and good luck in the competition!
welcome, I am confused as to why you favorited EVERYONE
welcome!
and wow, you worked at Bethesda? if this isnt some sort of weird april fools joke, that's pretty cool. fallout and skyrim are among my favorite games. also, good luckHey all,
Thanks for the warm reception.Moikle >>>I've favorited lots of people who had interesting blog entries and were in the competition. Partially to catch blog entries about the contest but also to sort of get a quick jump in to the community. Hope that's not rude, I honestly didn't think about what the standard use might be.JID >>>Lol, no april fools joke. The transition to indie has been interesting. There's a lot of skills you need as an indie dev that you don't need in a more specialized position at a big company. There's also a lot of freedom in working on your own games from the ground up. :)It's not rude! :P
It is rude that you didn't favorite me though.Edit: I was joking, but thanks! :DLol,
Done.Welcome to 64digits. Make sure to drop your sanity in the red bucket on the way in.
