Started working on my S4D game. Progress:
- Used autoflagging to allow me to place random unlockable crap in rooms without caring about how to save if it's picked up or not. Normally spazzes out in Studio when savefiles are involved, but they won't be this time. - Used autotiling to not having to bother with placing tiles. - Remade the Kirbyvania light effects using surfaces. I managed to make it work perfectly after 2 test plays… new record! I'm starting to become a real programmer now. - Made a bunch of places to go to, 5 rooms and counting.Screeny:
I do like surfaces
So awesome. Much useful. Very effects.
Very creepy. The bureau behind her is creepily huge. Unless she's a toddler, which would make it even creepier. And her bright glasses are creepy too. Creepy! If she is a child, why is she alone underground somewhere, staring at a tortured prisoner? Is it her prisoner? Her friend from school that didn't want to play with her, perhaps? This game might be too much for me.
