Phew… Well we're almost one third of the way through the summer and I'm putting in my first entry!
I don't want to put any of my games up just yet because I have a bad feeling that they'll bring down my ratings… hmm… Well, I do have one to put up…Woah, I just noticed I have a badge for ten blog views… and I don't have a blog yet. Amazing. My name is just so famous … what's that? My name at GMC isn't Zac1790? Err… Right. It's Green Meteor Team just in case you wanted to know…Well here I am in the middle of the summer, with a friend who used to go to my church telling me to get homeschooled so I can work full time game making and experimenting with Flash and stuff. Not that Flash is near as good as Gamemaker. It's just that he knows me as a great programmer and he wanted me to help out with a forum's arcade. Yeah.Back to homeschooling: My dad says I should go to public school at least two more years (I'm in 8th grade) and my mom says I have to prove I can home school and still have a life. HELLO - School isn't a life! So I still have to prove it, probably by getting on a soccer team or something but I had this weird idea of apprenticing a blacksmith. Hey, you need to be just as strong to mow my back yard (with my piece-of-crap-push-mower). It's a massive hill with evil ground hogs and my brother who both dig holes that make my back yard look like a mine-field that just blew up. The latest is that I have to write a persuasive essay to my mom persuading her to let me be homeschooled. I'll be back tomorrow after I write that and get my christmas game hosted and posted again.-Zac1790P.S. - Persuasive Essay advice is always welcome in the comments!! My summer started June 10th or something like that. I'm going to a cabin for a long time so I guess it evens out… somehow. :)
this is the longest summer i have for a long while, my middle school ended in may, but we stopped having classes in early may (school ended in late may), then we went for a week-long school trip to a camp-like ranch… yup, it was cool…
high-school starts in september, so i've had a 3 month summer!! yay!!mrpacman, school ended in May and doesn't start until September? What country are you from? I go from June to August! July is my only entirely 'free' month.
