Remember my entry to Scary Four Digits?
Well, I added a compass and fixed like maybe one or two bugs, then posted to the GMC and Slender Nation, the main Slenderman forum, and it was well received. There was much love and cheer. Then on July 2nd my views for the trailer on Youtube started spiking by thousands a day. I checked the analytics but nothing came up. Then on the 5th I got message from a nice member of the Slender Nation forums that pointed me to this: Apparently after making let's plays of this and a more recent Slenderman game he went up to being the 2nd or 3rd most subscribed Let's Player on Youtube (from what I can tell). He forgot the link to the game :(But lots of people found it on their own. Sooo… it's all good. It's like winning the eye-lottery.
Sidenote: Charlie made a game with Slender Man as a boss too.
This is great.
Damn.
Congrats dude.Sidenote: That game is terrible, don't bring it up.
It's overly difficult, tedious, poorly designed, and filled to the brim with sacrelige. Also I've been abusing the size tag, I may need counselling. It's pretty awesome that this guy did a Let's Play of your game, means people really seem to like it.Or are drawn in by the gimmick of Slenderface. This guy is more subscribed than Nova, but I've never heard of him, that's strange since I watch Let's Plays while I do basically any activity where it's possible to multitask.Wow, that's cool.
Kudos for you.yeah, I saw this the other day and my mind was blown at how you managed to get it on a let's play.
I'm surprised you took so long to post a blog about it on 64D.Congrats, manI remember liking that S4D game you made and faintly remember seeing that PewDiePie fellow around before, so yay
