So I broke my D key halfway typing gibberish in a fury last night. The beauty of the laptop keyboard is, no, you can't just pop keys back in - they're held in by some silly wire and plastic thing. If anyone else has an HP laptop and actually know how to get these keys back in that keep getting caught under my insane fingers, do let me know, as I am now fighting a loose letter D and have no caps lock.
My example went up, and is actually getting… a lot more attention than I thought. Considering it's absolutely nothing fancy, I'm fairly proud of the results thus far and feel I've learned something from attempting to teach others, which seems like a win-win situation, if you ask me.On the note of larger projects, I've been spriting for HPE now that I've gotten smart and started doing my sprites in Fireworks. It's like using GM, expect I can layer things and work with them separately. It doesn't sound like much, but it speeds things up tremendously when I can flip certain parts and not others (a good number of these characters aren't symmetrical, you see), delete a part I'm not happy with, move hair or clothing around without having to look up the exact fur layout from other frames… It is helpful. So, yes, things are moving, general stress about my personal problems aside. I notice Candeh Chaos broke 30 downloads at long last - considering how simple the game is, I suppose I should be proud, but I kinda doubt any of you have grabbed a bomb on there yet. Simple or no, expectations are high if you want to get the cool goodies. b: Possibly… *too* high…School, Yotsuba&!, Disgaea, and PPGZ. And now you can guess how I'm truly spending my free time. Yeah, that's… that's all I'm telling you.Oh, and if anyone ever checks in on HamstaPowah, I've been doing the pages in Manga Studio as of late, and am seeking feedback as to the format the reader base prefers. Manga Studio is a lot faster and I feel a good bit cleaner, but there's a minor fan base for the Photoshop grayscale and I'm sure some people out there sorely miss color. I promise color will appear again, but for a lot of what I'm doing right now, it's completely unneccessary and just ends up taking more time than it's worth. Tones are faster and I'm more skilled with black ans white than with color, anyway. Ongoing learning process, I suppose.ZX, out.
Well, HP must be a bad keyboard maker: Dell and Toshiba laptops are pop-in-pop-out keyboards.
Yeah, who designed this thing was definitely aiming to be compact, but kinda failed in the torture test department…
Acer laptop keys also pop right back in.
HP sucks.Amazing,you actually posted something
And amazing, its not about talking with pillsSticking games in one's sig is the perfect way to get chksGet chicks?
Noted. D: I do like getting chicks.I hear Acers are pretty bad. My computer's pretty good, it's just that I don't knwo how to fix the keyboard because it's… non-standard.Liz has an Acer and she has to send the damn thing in every other month. :x Granted, Liz is really the only one I know with an Acer, but she's got enough complaints about hers to be an activist against their very existence.
