Skin cancer.

The diagnosis for my puppy.

There is a very small possibility of an allergic reaction to something, although the vet doesn't believe it's that.

My wiener-dog isn't even a year old. The vet vaccinated something into the cancer-allergy-whatever lump that's on my dog's chest and said to wait till Monday. If nothing changes, it's cancer.

Currently, I'm trying to calm myself by thinking about uncle Charles' invention called evolution, and the thing that it simply chose my dog as the next victim that shouldn't live on. Hard to think calmly that way, since it's MY damn dog. My closest friend. He always waits for me to come back from school or any other outdoor activity. Even my parents rarely do that. Shit… It's my first pet dog.

If everything turns out the bad way a surgery might help. Had any of your pets had cancer? If so, did something (surgery, chemo, whatever) help? I really need to know.

Now, I'm waiting for Monday.

Shame, that must be terrible. I had to have a cat put down once due to heart problems. Poor creature wasn't even six months old. Hope all goes well for your dog :).

I've never heard of dog chemo before. Best of luck to your pup, hope it all works out for the best.

Sorry to hear that. My cat had cancer last year that was only identified very late on after multiple trips to the vet. The type of cancer she had didn't give her any chance even if it had been identified early on. You're best checking up the type of cancer he has on the net as survival rates vary drastically. Try to stay positive and I hope that everything goes ok.

Too bad, that.
