Well, in the second episode of Abacus gets Pissed off, Abacus learns that 64 digits didnt let in my Pushcart War game. Drat! It was good, but they wouldnt let it in because:
Dear abacus,Unfortunately, your game, "The Pushcart War" has been denied for the following reason(s):-the controls were not included-no obvious way to quit the game, I had to force quit it-to me it almost seemed like an edit of Mark's FPS example, although I cannot be positive of this statementso i replied, very truthfully,:Oh, sorry. the controls were the arrow keys, and space to fire. no, this wasnt a rip off marks tutorital. I made it fully by my self. I used a few libs, though. yes, i forgot to have it end, but once you completed the game it automaticaly exited the game. Sorry that i forgot that stuff.
XD at the Korby.
Yeah, I know the arrow key controls, I tried space and it didn't work. I also talked to people and if you were supposed to get something I never did. It just wasn't all that clear, which is a reason I did not accept it. You can always improve it, and try again. =)
To everyone else, if you submit a game with controls nowhere, then I won't accept it.We have high standards here. Deal with it.
The reason you couldnt shoot was cause you didnt have the pea-shooter, duh!!! yeah i know it wasnt the best game in the world, but the exiting was by mistake, i was bug testing it and i thought that maybe the reason it kept exiting ws cause i held down the esc button too long, but it wasnt. And to get in the shop (where you find the peashooter) was kinda hard, but that was me first ever fps game. I didnt really know about masks, either. So even though i could have done some things to make it better, I only did it for a stupi book report. And none of my classmates care how good it is, they cant do any better.
