Buzz! The monkeys aren't working! We're formulating another plan, stay calm!
Okay well maybe not that kind of barrel. But as a follow up to the untextured models I posted on my last blog, I present to you a texture I worked on today, which so happens to be the ubiquitous barrel:Ah, a gaming icon so classic I get nostalgic just thinking about it. All hail the barrel! /snark. More to come, hopefully. As a secondary follow-up, I reworked the first song I posted last blog. I didn't end up getting to use my brother's bass (he lives in another town, I'll have to remind him to bring it when he visits), so in the meantime I re-recorded with an acoustic and worked on the drums. Have a listen:Cheers to everyone who gave feedback last blog. Cesque, I laughed my ass off when I googled the Groke :PValē!
I think these barrels might be filled cute baby animals. Which you just shot.
I really dig that main riff you have going there. Especially at the 29 second mark. Very noodley and the drums (especially the kick) accentuate it very well. I like the way you blend the two guitar parts building up to that, too. Nice work.
Oh yeah. Laughs. I thank the barrels are full of laughs.I played a game of airsoft that was based around barrels tonight. Nothing blew up, except my blood blister.
Were those drums played by you?You should've linked the image of the barrel, so that it plays a video of an explosion when clicked.
Hey, that looks pretty freakin' good.
The song is cool, it's got a country feel and it made me happy just listening to it. Did you play all the instruments in there? These barrels are actually leftover from Soviet Russia, when you shoot them YOU explode :P
