EDIT: THE END
I WASN'T KIDDING GUYS

And that's not all either.
There's gonna be a crapload of TNT for you guys by that building. Have fun.
No IP needed: eagledesignmedia.net is all you need.
seriously. it's a lost cause ATM. Dunno why but there's two holes in a part of the map. The seed is messed up/corrupted and is completely useless to me. I plan to re-do with a brand new seed (once I figure out how to set it) and that's about it..
Is it possible to start a single player map and then transfer the file to use it in the server (with the specific seed)?
EDIT: I'm gonna make it so new people can build/whatever. I really don't care right now. D:
So let's all un-grief it and turn the messed up chunks into normal chunks! Mwuhahaha!
The messed up areas are huge holes - a la you can see the void.
I'd like to see you try without dying XDBut seriously. anyone know how the hell to fix the seed (or transfer a single player map into a multiplayer map?)Something like that happened with my server, but the holes were tiny and they were filled with newly generated chunks from a new seed. Luckily it was right before people started really building, so I just copied the 2 important things to a new map. Now I back it up every few days.
DING DONG
MASSIVE DAMAGESet the seed in the server settings, then generate a new world.
My favorite is 10110101 you can copy the world file from your singleplayer saves straight to your server root folderwe should all try to make an adventure/exploration map, with loads of hidden treasure, and we could release it on the interwebs. Can you really set server seeds? o.O
Oooh. Way to think! A-ha I feel like an idiot now.
I believe you can change set it in the server.properties as well
I don't see anyway to change the seed in server.properties (unless you have to add it to the list). I think I will generate the world in SP then..
