I was looking at the older logos and aspects of the other sites when making this. Right now, looking at it, while FirestormX seems to like it, I'm probably gonna play around with it a bit more - I like how I incorporated various aspects of the logos, but it seems more like I cut and pasted different bits of different logos - given the fact I was mixing what I liked about each, it is kinda hard to not fudge it up, but I'll see what I can do. Those things at the left look horrible, just sayin'.
Also, "COMMUNITY" looks a bit weird, with the irregular sharpening.Also, what link2x101 is talking about is most likely that way because that logo is in fact smaller.*Is going to post Logos this weekend*
The "swirlies" as I call them were pretty much directly traced (partly) from the old graphics on the site ( http://web.archive.org/web/20050501190444/http://www.64digits.com/ )- at least the black one was. I'm looking to redo those.
As for "COMMUNITY", the "sharpening" is probably the highlights I added under the leters (to give the inset appearance to the other elements). The weird size of COMMUNITY is probably throwing people off. It looks good on one of my monitors, but double checking it on my larger monitor (and my mother's monitor as well) it looks just overly sharp for some reason.
