If I asked you to design me a logo for a company, what would you ask? Let company be a general desctription of an entity - be it a single person, a full fledged company, a startup, or an organization. Assume this is a commission and thus, you would be paid for this. Assume you are a professional designer. This is generally directed towards the artist-types here.
I'm curious to see how you'd answer - seriously though.
I think a lot of people, myself included would be interested.
although I don't know if I would be able to make anything good enough, I'm kind of in a dry spot at the moment artistically. What Does the Company Do?
Do you know what the Target Age Demographic if for the Company? What Colors do you think match your Product perfectly?(This is optional :/ )If a client isn't prepared to answer these questions, one may be stuck on this project for longer than a week.also, what image are the company going for? ie. family business, professional, friendly?
@Moikle, I'm not looking for commissioning someone - I was just curious to see what some of you guys would say.
A potential client of mine was pissed I didn't give him a specific price range when he asked me to make him two different logos. So I was wondering how you guys might answer, whether you'd give a quote/ask about prices, or would actually aim to find out more to give a much better quote. So you guys are definitely smart. Now in proper 64Digits spirit, feel free to flood this serious blog with random crap :Dsorry, i misread it :P
Ok, but remember.
