Playstation: It only does everything. Except what the other consoles do.
"Apparently, the PS3's RAM is used by the game the system is running. Because of that, the console can't support cross-game chat like the Xbox 360 does."LOLWUTShut up, Sony. You're a bunch of idiots, Sony.Your "rumor control" commercials are interesting, Sony.Your products are of great quality (normally), Sony. But please…Go back to making TVs and Computers. If you can't optomize a game system that's supposed to be way more powerful than the 360 in a way that can handle some voice conversation ACROSS different games, then please just huddle into a corner and go into a fetal position.….Seriously. What the hell, sony.
oh god, please dont bring that console war shit here. I dont even have a PS3 and yet I still dont like bashing it.
The only thing I hate about Sony is the cocky attitude and that's about it. Sony still has one of the best franchises to ever come out this gen and that's Uncharted. I owned a PS3 for two weeks and I managed to beat Uncharted 2, I still think that it was one of the best games I've ever played.Honestly? I like the 360 as much as I like the PS3, as much as I like the Wii.
But stupid shit like this makes me wish Sony would go back to making TVs and other non-game-console crap. I love their stuff, and I view them as the AWESOME version of Apple for the PC market (them, Dell (to a very VERY small extent) and I forgot the other company right now cause I'm super tired). But really….*cough*
I dunno why I linked to that. You could always use a nearby PC. It's a games console, not a social media device, it's designed to play video games. The one major thing wrong with this current console generation is that they've forgotten what they are, and are trying to be PCs when they're hopelessly outclassed at that by actual PCs. Dedicating the vast majority of the system RAM to the game that's actually being played is the obvious thing to do, so the game you're actually playing has more resources. Both consoles are already RAM-starved, you want to make that worse?
I second PY. Game consoles should do only game things. If chess came out twenty years ago we'd be bitching if it didn't come with an APP store and social media system by now.
I hate to say it dude, but this blog is a long youtube comment.
I agree with PY as well.I'm glad I don't own either. (We just bought a Wii.)
*angst!I only really play my PS3. I have a 360 and live, which I'm probably going to cancel soon, and it's really not that cool.
