So every year I open some early gifts as one person comes over who normally we won't see till sometime after christmas - and I got Gears of War 3.
That's awesome. So why the sadface, you ask?My desk decided to get in on the action and give me an early gift… and by gift I mean the keyboard draw that slides out from under the desk completely detaching from the desk and falling on me. No more convenient place to hide the keyboard and mouse.On the flipside I was looking to change that with a cooler draw I found so whatever. But I'd rather not destroy a desk that I love oh so dearly. Oh how I love corner desks…
Gears of War3>any desk
Just use the case as a desk, serious. Gears3 may save your life one day.I use the draw of the desk for storage, it's too uncomfortable to have the keyboard and mouse there.
I kind of expected the desk to collapse and break Gears 3. I had a desk collapse once… Scariest thing ever. Surprisingly, it didn't break anything, even with a giant CRT monitor on top.
looks like everyone wants to get Gears 3 all of the sudden.
if you have anyone to play it with, i recommend playing some of the co-op modes, like co-op campaign, arcade, horde, or beast mode.the boss battles on the game are fuckin amazing and pretty difficult. actually, i think it's probably the only AAA shooter left with real boss battles in it, that are actually challenging. :pGears is actually pretty old school with some of the way things play out, in campaign and all that. you can feel some of that 80's style in the game.
