UPDATE: Competitions Website

Posted by anthonyloprimo on Sept. 4, 2012, 2:05 p.m.

UPDATE: In less than an hour, I've sketched the basic concepts for the site on the back of several scrapped cards used for printing. Perfect for a basic design, too. Bedtime now. Work later. Photoshopping and site designing later. Maybe.

I will probably livestream/google hangout this shizz if my PC holds out. …There's always my laptop of course.

Should I design/create a page that showcases our past competitions, as well as the winners?

Simple as that. Would be a fun project for me - it'll describe the competitions, possibly listing upcoming ones, showcase the winners of each competition.

I don't think I can do EVERYTHING, but of course after the initial design, people are free to alter/edit it as needed. You get the idea.

To Vote: just comment below. Yes? No? What do you think?

So it seems it's a good idea. Cool.

I think clicking on each Competition banner should bring up a lightbox displaying the winning game for that competition. And then also add a link to another page that contains every other game entered.

Think Humble Indie Bundle.

On a serious note: yes. The more people notices good games, the better. I didn't even know there was previous competitions, and if there are, there seems to be no good way to find them. Therefore you should do it.

Well, there's this.

They're at the bottom of the blog, so it kind of makes them look seemingly unimportant.

What I haven't said yet but want to say yet can't be bothered saying but have inevitably said.
