My aunt died on tuesday. Second day of the blackout due to hurricane sandy. She had passed as my mom was trying to feed her, but at least she got her wish to die at home.
Power is still out; we might get it back on tomorrow. Finally getting a signal on my cell phone though.Figured I'd give a heads up for anyone who cared at all. Sorry about the short blog in any case.
Well, damn man. Sorry for your loss. And hopefully things will get better over there.
Sorry to hear about that. :(
D: What a sad situation. Hope everything gets better soon!
On a side note, why would someone +1 this blog :\TehHoosier likes sad things.
Also sorry to hear about that :(Condolences, I hope you're mom and rest of family are dealing with it well.
Thanks for the kind words. The first night of the wake is in a few hours. Getting ready now. We're doing what we can to cope - the blackout helped keep our minds off of it for a bit. The power is now on though; at least I can go back to whatever I was working on. Gonna go back to work next week so at least I'll be occupied enough.
Sorry for your loss :(
Sorry to hear it, dude. Loss is always rough. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Oh, man…I'm sorry, dude. Was she sick, or was it related to the power? :(
I prefer "dead" over "passed away" but that's just me. I can't really say "sorry" since i didn't do anything to you so, i'll say "good luck". Dealing with the emotions caused by deceased family members can be difficult for some, support helps and i'm sure you're family will suffice.
