Web site finished!

Finally, my web site is finished. I spent all morning taking every iteration my site has been through and gutting them, taking out all of the useful and re-usable stuff, and I've come up with this:

tinydinosaur.com

It's still not much yet, but it's got some worthwhile content I suppose. (Suprisingly, nothing Game Maker related yet). For the next couple days expect more and more icons to pop up with even more cool shit for you to check out. Right now it hosts a lot of my current non-Game Maker projects, like my Brainfuck interpreter, Chip-8 homebrews, my AJAX roguelike, and Robot Fight, as well as other goofy shit that nobody really cares about.

If any of you guys have a web site and want to trade links or whatever, let me know. I am kind of picky though :(

Game Maker

I'm still working on ICOM (details on my project page), and the next release should be coming up soon. I've decided to keep the enemies and items in ini files, and I've changed the screen size again. I'm holding off on the release so I can just release it as a completed game, all that really needs to be done is more item variety and a character creation routine (select class, distribute stat points, starting equipment, etc).

What I really want to talk about though is that I started working on an old project of mine, and I think Jabberwock would be very excited about it should he ever read this blog.

Ooh, is the project you're resurrecting that one that I liked that you stopped making that I forgot what it was about?

Nice site, anyway.

So how much have you ever been able to persist through with Brainfuck?

I just like playing with it to see what I can make it do, but never to the extent some of the crazy/genius people do. I link to one guy's site on the page who made a Brainfuck interpreter in Brainfuck. Someone has also ported an old text adventure to Brainfuck, the source code is like 2 megabytes.
