I got this sudden urge to work on Beam's Sewer Crawl a little while ago, and I put a pretty big dent into the project. It already had the sewer generator and field of vision, as well as the subsystems like the message buffer, turn controller, etc.
The main thing I added this morning is monsters:In the screenshot you can see me fighting a slime, a rat, and a cement golem. Cement golems are super hard :(What I still need to do is get some more enemy ideas, and build the inventory system. If you want, send me 8x8 pixels of enemies or items and tell me what they are and what they should do, you'll be credited appropriately.also hey i tag my blogs now
Allimagators. And uh, snakes?
Ah the greatness of 8x8 and classic mode. Too bad I always seem to get bored whenever I play those rogue things
I'm sick of these motherfucking snakes in my motherfucking game!
Sorry<_<That game looks interesting, actually.Wohoo! I'll see what I can do with the monster ideas.
Praps a lizard with the tongue shooting out an extra square every few rounds?
Can't wait to play that. I tried doing a Roguelike-esque game myself, and, well, nice combat seems to be pain to execute.
Beam… You are awesome because you like Punk Rock :D
I might send you some sprites, shading or no?
