It is time to get serious. I haven't done that in a while.

As far as game making is going, I haven't done much lately. I have no inspiration or motivation – a killer combination. It's a funk that I just can't get out of. It is also a funk that I need to get out of quickly, if I want to submit something to the 4 color competition.

Lately, I've been drawing. A lot. A lot. On anything I can find. I've been filling sketchbooks, drawing on placemats in restaurants, benches, walls – I've even made a little canvas out of wood chips on a playground and made a mural on it. It was beautiful until some little kid stomped all over it. I haven't left the house without my black Uni-ball and a Sharpie in weeks. It's become as big a part of me as my cell phone and my wallet. The only problem is that I don't have a scanner or a camera, so there's no way to get anything on the internet. I hope to resolve that issue soon.

Also, I've started a little group of people who will be collectively called the Reptile House. It's basically just a club where we all post our artwork, and people who like it can subscribe to the public RSS feed and just appreciate what we do, while we get the satisfaction of showing our artwork to somebody. A lot of people don't get to enjoy that feeling, as their stuff is never seen on places like DA because it's overrun with anime fanart and cosplay photos.
