Soon I will be going back to help the friends I mentioned in my last blog move more stuff in to their new house, only this time it is the big stuff, which I don't exactly relish.
I'm experimenting with some blog tweeks. I updated the banner with a picture of me, and I changed my title style from "|bd|" to ".bd.", which is what I really want opinions on (not on my picture :P ). I also changed the font styles slightly. Edit: I changed the title back.I have installed a new PSU, case fan, and sound card, so a lot of my problems are now fixed! But alas, UPS is late with the wrist strap, and I don't want to put in the new CPU and RAM until that gets here. I hope it didn't get lost…I'm considering buying a new flash drive to replace my old 256 MB, but I think I'm going to wait, in case I have to pay shipping to return a defective part. I'm still trying to sell PC's locally, but my only serious customer wanted to do monthly payments, and I told her I didn't want to deal with that. But I shall try again and put in more newspaper ads (another good reason to keep my money).Last night I stayed up later than I intended, reading a novel called Manna. It's very interesting, but it's robotic takeover of the world (by replacing all human labor) doesn't account for computer errors, limited wireless spectrum, or the massive energy shortage you would have if you tried to replace everyone with a robot. Well, I guess the author could assume that efficient motors and servos had been invented, but the other 2 problems remain. It's still very interesting though.
relish is nasty
There was another book with the same idea as Manna that I loved when I was younger, Invitation To The Game by Monica Hughes.
I've done that too, but I don't want to risk it on the CPU.
Nerd.
Nerd?
Um, could I have opinions on my title style?here's my opinion: nerd.
