Yes, folks, it's true. I have finally made my very own trilobite ice cream. Whoever can make some as good as mine and posts a picture shall receive a cookie.

More in the way of a real blog: Yes, I know I said I would write a criticism blog, but I simply haven't had time to do anything of the sort. I have been commuting to the nearby (30 mins normally, one hour in rush) capitol mall for a student legislature program. It has been one of the best programs I've ever gone to, and I really hope I can go next year.

As for what it actually is, it is a program that allows students to visit the state capitol and form their own House and practice legislating, as well as take tours of government buildings and listen to speeches by real legislators and lobbyists. Although it can be somewhat grueling, it is a ton of fun to write legislation and debate it on our House floor. We are required to dress like legislators, and consequently our group of teens gets a lot of weird looks as we march around the capitol annex in a crowd of dresses and suits. I personally find it enjoyable, but I wish my briefcase was leather, not cloth. :D

The program is over now, except for a public speaking class tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get around to posting some photos in my next blog.
