The results for the oneswitch contest over at retro remakes are out, and I can only say I'm dissapointed. I was really pleased with TOLIX, my entry, and I ended up getting 40th place out of 43 with a score of 35/100. I managed to beat 3 games that the judge couldn't even get to run.
I have to say, it's an eye-opener. I had thought that I had at least decent skills as a game maker, but if my best work so far is apparantly a heap of shit, I must really suck. I don't really see much point in using GM anymore. I think that my skills have hit the point where they level off, and they're still sub-par.This is Scott, and I'm out.
I think it might just be because it was too hard? They couldn't beat the game, so they just gave up?
Thats the spirit! Show em' how much of giver-upper you are XD
-_-The only reason it got a 35/100 is because it was so darn difficult. You have talent at GameMaking. Don't give up. :)
