OK, so I updated my zombie game a lot, but it sort of dropped to the back of my mind for a while, anyway I was cleaning out my desktop and accidentally deleted the latest version of the source code >_< It was updated a bit more than this, which is the demo I'm going to upload to prove it even existed, because the map was actually much better, although it is still not final.
Total features are now as follows:Destructable wallswallsbullets in the direction of wallshorribly balanced zombie spawning system (underpowered.)only some zombies spawn more zombiesnew collisions/movement system (Diagonal, thanks Avenger.)Download here: http://64digits.com/users/chao1212/ZombieDemo2.rar
At first when I launched the game I couldn't shoot because apparently I had died (my healthbar was completely black) so the screen got filled with green circles chasing me, as I noticed a little 'FAIL' on the top left corner.
I reloaded the game and, with the ability to shoot (noticing that the bullets weren't aimed directly at the tip of my mouse pointer, but rather 16-20 pixels off, for that, you can use direction=point_direction(x,y,mouse_x,mouse_y) on the bullet's object), I cleared the screen in no time (also, there was no 'FAIL' on the corner anymore), but no more zombies were spawning, which seemed kind of weird. I finally ran around the level and getting stuck on the top gray squares (buildings?) and the destructible walls.Hmm, it's never done that for me. (The instant death.) I'm running XP SP3, what are you running? Also, those gray squares are going to be replaced. The graphics have not been updated yet, I've not worked on it for a few months and just fixed a few more noticable issues. (On mine anyway.)
Seems to be a lot of zombie stuff these days, but I prefer that over all the vampire crap out there.
Yeah, especially SPARKLEH vampires.
