Hey guys,

I'm getting a new guitar friday, namely some kind of acoustic one. I'm really shooting for a small body Gibson guitar, but those things cost 2k+. Too bad i can't get a new guitar just by

pulling one out of my head. Anywho, i need a little help from ppl who have had guitars for awhile.

Which would be a better pick, an Acoustic, A-E, or Hollow Body Electric? My dad says, the less amount of "unecessary" features, most likely the better the quality will be. I plan to use this to record and to play at gigs so, what would be deemed "unecessary."

And one more question, what are some good quality acoustic guitar brands/specific guitar models?

Omg… so sexy… and as you can tell i like that style and those colors and i would love it to be a cut away guitar. I wish the last one was too.

The middle guitar is built for gigs and portability so i wish i could get that… but i really want is the first guitar… it's more acoustic, i love the style, and it's also a variation of what chris carrabba uses and (too bad for those who hate them) my favorite band is dashboard.
