Here we go, this is a hyowge blog entry; the longest one i've posted and have much to tell you. It involves action, drama and a whole lot of llamas! (j/k lol).

However, some parts you may find boring, dull and random. There may also be numerous spelling mistakes.

I'll start with a little bit about myself. Being lazy me, I have copied and pasted the interview I gave from turquoisestar :P

Um, well i can sail pretty good, and i can do some good 3D rendering. Im also ok at web design (kind of :-/). i can also come up with ideas and solutions for problems quite good.

im kind of an all rounder really, not too good at one particular thing

7. How did you discover Game Maker?

I bought a utilities computer magazine which had a CD with it containg GM 3.x (cant quite remember)

Yes, some things i think you should know about me:

- im incredibly forgetfull

- i get bored very easily (that is why i dont use game maker anymore, because i get bored with trying to finish a game)

- i say llama quite a bit

<b><u>Sailing.</u></b>

I have been involved in sailing for about 5 years, and thoughroughly engoyed it. I travel up to the sailing club every weekend with my parents to do a few hours of something i love the most. I am quite good at it, in fact, im am now a recognised Dinghy RYA dinghy instructor.

<u><b>Portfolio Website</b></u>

Im designing a new website portfolio for me to stick some of my 3D modelling designs, pictures, logo's, other websites etc to show people/clients what i can do :D. I made a small prevew picture in ms paint of what it might look like:

could do with a few suggestions on the layout and colours etc (it look kind of bland). Ace02 gave me a few suggestions, but i'd also like to hear yours too ;)

<u><b>"Web design: Portfolios"</b></u>

Yesterday i bought a book on web design for Borders, it can be found <a href = "http://www.taschen.com/pages/en/catalogue/books/design/new/facts/03948.htm">here</a>. It features websites from around the internet which have been commended for their design, programming and time consumption, etc.

I think its a WONDERFULL book, and i seriously suggest you have a look or even buy it.

<u><b>Autodesk</b></u>

A few days ago, i was invited to test out a new piece of 3D modelling software over the half term called "Autodesk". It turns out this piece of soft ware, found <a href = "http://www.autodesk.co.uk/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=452932&id=5197576">here</a>, is so much better than the previous <a href = "http://www.ptc.com/appserver/mkt/products/home.jsp?k=355">Pro/DESKTOP</a> i have been using. My job is to test it, give a few pointers and decide weather it should be distributed around the school. The price aint cheap either: at around £3000 a pop, the school eductation authority will be charged :P
