Ignoring my last blog, this one will give a more structured approach into telling you what I've been up to.

<b>Uni</b>

Yep, I achieved the results I needed to gain a place to study <a href = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_engineering >civil engineering</a> at Leeds University. It’s the one I originally wanted to go to and now I have the chance to go to it. I hope to have such an awesomeness time!! Meet loads of friends and that and join clubs and shit and perfect the method of making beans on toast! :D

The term starts in like a few weeks so I gotta figure out what to take, and learn how to cook and use a washing machine. I hate washing, more than I hate my face. I got a room on the ground floor of like this massive university halls of residence that is located right smack in the middle of the uni campus ?

I’ma join the badminton, sailing, IT, squash club and meet a lot of people there, so I’ll be like safe as houses cos I’ll know so many people.

<b>Work</b>

Work sux. Fact. But I guess I got to save up some money for beer for uni. I got a job in Somerfield, a grocery store. The pay is ok and the staff are friendly. But I’d really rather just stay in bed than get up at 10am and work 9 hour shifts.

The other day at work I dropped an entire case of white wine (9x1.5 litre bottles) on the floor. The mess was catastrophic and the smell was intense, but I cleaned it up quick and the boss was cool with it. Thank god I didn’t have to pay for the damage done, each bottle of the wine was £7 ($13) each :O.

The store manager is a right arse. From when I started he has had his foot firmly up my ass making sure im kept on form. God it pisses me off.

<b>Sailing</b>

I just got back from a whole week of sailing. I guess you could call it a holiday because I asked for time off work for it. It was pretty dam good holiday cos I got to catch up with me sailing mates, and go on many other different craft as well as my own trusty laser sailboat.

As well as the sailing we got to go on different things like walk round the lake, have BBQ’s and go to town, paddle canoes, use spinnakers, watch rugby on a massive plasma tv in town, etc etc fun fun fun!

<b>Social life</b>

Very much active at the mo, spending a lot of my wages on going out nearly every other night. Usually it may be on going to Chester to go to night clubs and crap like that. ‘spensive it is but it sure as hell gets your to meet new people. I’ve just realised that it really doesn’t matter what music you dance to, as long as you dance correctly. I’ve recently plummeted into sadness by researching dance into Google and picking up some slick moves to try out on the dance floor XD XD.

But sometimes it’s good to just take a breather and go on msn all night.

<b>Online life</b>

As outlined above I go online not as regularly as before. These days instead of checking out the game maker forums I’d rather just check my http://myspace.com/sailordaverave myspace profile, or instead of logging onto irc I’d rather just check out Youtube. Jeese im moving away from geeky things day by day, and I’ll tell you what – my head isn’t full of sql queries or php functions anymore, it’s usually Barry White :D

Therefore, my website is rarely updated. I did work on the drd http://drd.daverave.eu for a while but I got bored. I usually get a good idea but am waaay to lazy to put it together and make new sites.

I did have this idea of setting up a small one-man-and-his-dog web design business where I could make a few pennies making websites during university. Unfortunately the man is bone idle, and the dog got shot.

<b>Conc</b>

Yeah so that’s me for the mo. I’ll post another blog like this one around christmas time, between now and then I may post snippets of my activities.
