MORE artwork. (i'm bored)

Here's a little dragon i drew, some-what similar to a Spyro like character. all i can really draw is cartoony stuff anyway:

Here are some SPAWN characters i drew (i ♥ spawn)

Spawn:

Redeemer:

i drew these, than i scanned them, than i edited them, and finally i colored them, 1 shade only. (might add some shading later)

also i got the random urge for creating an arcade game………

EDITED: here is what the dragon looks like with a "thicker line". i couldn't really smooth it out easily without messing the coloring up though =\

also i changed the colors a little.

No you didn't. Maybe the second one, but not the others. Scanned images look much different than pixel drawings. Looks like you took a pencil tool, not anti-aliased, and did it that way. There's nothing wrong with drawing things in Paint, but I'm starting to doubt that you know what a scanner is. That, or you're godly at forging pixel art with your steady hand.

Other than that, cool drawings. Looks great despite the simplicity. In fact, the dude on the bottom is masturbating to your awesome art.

Kilin, I think he drew them, scanned them, went over them with a pencil tool on a separate layer, then used a fill bucket.

If that's the case, you may want to increase the line thickness. You can get some great-looking pieces using a width of 2 or 3, anti-aliasing, etc.

sorta…. i do know what a scanner is, seeing as i used one. it's always fun to hear people tell ME what I did lol. if you want to know the EXACT process, i'll explain it:

- first i draw it (obviously)

- than i scan it, using a fairly low resolution output (200dpi) than RESIZE even lower.

- then i use the "sharpen" tool to get all lines to turn pure black (no light grays!)

- then i clean up the lines a little (so i can do the next step)

- then i simply fill the lines with color. it's simple, but it works :P

i'm not much of a photoshoper but i may get into that so i can get better coloring.
