just bought "Screaming Bloody Murder" and "Vices & Virtues". together they were $33.32 so it was a bit pricey…
but overall it was well worth it! not sure how many Panic/Sum41 fans there are on here but these albums did not disappoint. if your a fan of rock/punk i suggest checking these albums out even if you don't know of these 2 bands.i'll give some short reviews will i'm at it:Screaming Bloody Murder (Sum 41):this album reveals a return to the heavier side of Sum 41. after their last release, which was filled with a lot of soft melodies. this album is very powerful all the way through. it's a bit different this time though, it's got a bit of "emo" in there i'd say. with structures that may remind you of bands like MCR, AFI, etc. however it's still very Sum 41 and it's a great album, definitely beats their previous one! i give an 8/10Vices & Virtues (Panic! At The Disco)after the departure of 2 of the bands members, the remaining 2 decided NOT to replace those members. this album is done entirely by Brendon and Spencer. this album is not a repeat of their baroque-pop album but a return to their dance/emo style that was heard on their first release. to me, this is a great thing, this album is far more serious and powerful than their previous album. the first half of the album is very impressive and was just what i was hoping for, however the 2nd half falls apart with a lot of typical love songs and boring structure. for that i give this a 7/10
Sounds cool. I do like sum 41, but i think my friend likes both more than i do. they are somewhat old though, but classic.
It's a bad thing to make the same music.
As the resident punk elitist I feel it is my obligation to call you a poser or otherwise belittle you/your taste in music, but who gives a fuck?

yeah a lot of "hardcore punks" love bashing on everything that's not what they define punk to be. i've dealt with them before. you see i can listen to hardcore punk, classic punk, pop-punk and modern day punk with no hate for any of them. i love Rise Against and Bad Religion, but i also love Sum 41 for the fact that they don't always play the same shit over and over again, every album they've ever done was different. this one i'd say is probably post-hardcore. as opposed to their more melodic-hardcore and pop-punk past.
