my experience at Universals Halloween Horror Nights was… well shit. i spent $80 on the tickets. it was from 7pm~ 1am i believe (i don't know i left at 12am) so i was only there for about 5 hours for $80. i went through a total of 5 attractions there. each attraction was about 2 mins ~ 4 mins long. so i spent almost 5 full hours just standing in lines for a total of 20ish mins of "entertainment".
i bought a 7 dollar hotdog there was so greenish and tasted like dogshit in a bun. slightly warm with no toppings it made my stomach hurt for the rest of the night. i had gone to this event expecting to have a good time, hoping to have a good time. i usually hate these places anyway but since i had never been to a Halloween Event i decided i should check it out. it was pretty much just 7 haunted houses, only difference between them were the theme used in them. some sci-fi, some old-abandoned houses, etc the experience at these things were basically push-n-shove. a line of people in front of me and a line of people behind me. nothing was impressive about this. nothing scary as you would see the people in front of you getting screamed at by strangers in costumes hiding behind corners. it was the same thing over and over agian…i'm not sure if anyone actually has a good time with this. maybe i just don't get it… but this bored me and bothered me. i was exhausted as hell by 12am having to stand in line for 5 hours. i just left at that point. it seems most others were leaving to.
I hate Halloween.
*Realizes he's hosting a Halloween game competition*Things like this are enjoyable if only for the sake of doing something.
I've only been to one "screampark" thing, and it wasn't even scary. The most entertaining part was the girl ahead of us running her head into a door.so, that's what mod privs look like…
What? The edit and delete button? The warn? Oh JID, there is so much for you to learn.
I went to Universal Studios once. Complete waste of time.
I went to the Halloween thing at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and that whole strangers jumping around corners thing was pretty much the same there. But I ended up riding the Mach Tower and Apollo's Chariot so the night was redeemed :P
And they actually have one cool haunted house that's clown themed with a giant chicken. I mean that's pretty creative. And one of my friends screamed "You're tall!" at a creepy clown on stilts who then spoke back in a creepy voice, "You're short. Ha ha ha" and like, stilted towards them :P
