World Map Veiwer Engine

This whole Final Fantasy thing I'm working on has really pushed some of my programming skills and I've come up with a neat way to "fake" 3D texture maping (essentially putting a perspective on an otherwise 2D image) and use it to view my world map.

As you can see it works pretty well and after I finish drawing the entire map the space won't be on the sides. I will likely make trees and buildings as sprites instead of actually drawn on the background. And as a bonus the story is shaping up nicely. If I finish this game, it is likely to be my greatest work ever. That reminds me I need to do final testing of Spider Fighter and get the working version uploaded.

For those interested I can upload an example of how do render the fake 3D texture maping, I'll call it 2D Perspective Imaging or something as a sub-title.

That'd be cool, I'd like to see that. It is very generous of you to showhowto share your ideas. Most people don't do that! :)
