Lets talk about it. (if you don't know what it is then go to GM's site.)
I personaly think it could be a good thing if done right. It could however just as easily turn into something bad. What I hope it becomes is a window for all of the Good to great Game Maker games out there. But not just for other game makers. Rather a window for people who just want to play games. (something none of the current communitys do)If it becomes that, all of the good games will be able to gain more reconition. What I'm afriad it could become is like the gmg. Swamped with tons of worthless games you have to wade through to find anything good. Then no one will go to it to find games and we're right back where we started. Also, what effect, if any, do you think this will have on 64digits?I personally will continue to come here and post here. It won't effect me at all.-Elmernite
It won't affect me either.
It won't effect me and i don't think it will effect 64digits because 64digits has it's "followers" who know games that are published here meet a certain standard. That said YoYo games could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to gamemaker. We will just have to wait and see.
Will we be allowed to play gamemaker games straight from our internet browser?
Its hard to tell from their brief description whether or not it will be good. But you know it will be swamped with users because it comes right from the GM web site. And 64D is still tiny in comparison to like GMC so it will not effect it that much.
@elmernite:Check your e-mail. :)I like the idea, minus the fact that while you people may not be affected, it is likely to reduce future trafic here.
ask YoYoGames instead, they might actually consider it.
I am a great follower of the great 64 digits. *Bows to Melee*
^^
what he said. maybe 64d should start accepting non-gm stuff? a flash section would help!Hopefully it will divert some of the n00bage we have started to receive lately here…
