No, it's not being run by me, but I want to enter it. This is why I've been saying I might put Cell Burst aside for a month.

It's being run by gmtech and markup. The five finalist get a a 1gb usb drive. And the winner get's some other stuff! The contest started on the 15th and the last day to enter is the 15th of november.

The game must be related to fire and ice(snow). You can go to the site for more information.

So for a little while (The duration of the comp) I'll be setting aside Cell Burst to work on my entry for the comp. I won't tell you anything about it yet, but I will post updates and maybe screens here as well.

I have an idea of what I want to do, but like most things, I'm setting the bar to high. Chances are I won't get it finished in time. If it looks like I won't be able to make it in time I can always just drop it and go back to Cell Burst.

So start making your game!
-Elmernite
Hmmm, I might make something for this.
It's about time news of this got to 64D. It's all over the rest of the GM "world". Are we cut off?
I may or may not enter.I may enter, though I have a pretty nice TWO-GB flash drive…
It sounds fun, but why are we the last to hear of it?Well, I'm sure as hell not entering. They don't have the rules in plaintext form anywhere, and acrobat reader is a crashfest. I couldn't enter if I wanted.
I would enter but i've got a bit too much on at the moment :(
@ F1ak3r, I know, I thought the same thing. So I blogged about it.
-ElmerniteHoly shit. The theme is "fire and ice"? I once made a game called Fire and Ice! Even though it didn't even have any ice in it. I might make a re-make of it and adjust it to fit the guidelines better.
I'd like to enter but I wouldn't have any chance against you guys.
(and what kind of price is a usb stick. Come on those things cost nothing!)yeah I have one it was 20 dollars last year… But I suppose I could incorporate fire and ice to my current short project…
So how's anyone's porjects coming?
