A Glance Back

Posted by elmernite on Feb. 7, 2008, 8:26 a.m.

I throw a brief glance backwards as I move on from Cell Burst. It seems a bit strange. I’d worked on the game for over a year. For it to final be done, and when I turn on the computer to know that I don’t have to go work on CB is a strange feeling.

It went over very well, as of the time of this post it was first place on yoyogames. I was really happy about the reception here on 64digits as well. I’ve submitted it to gamehippo hopefully they will accept the game.

Overall, I’m pretty happy, to have finally finished the game takes a load off of my mind. A Thanks goes out to everyone who helped! And out to all of those who enjoyed playing and told me so!

Thanks!

Don’t think this is all about glancing back, I’m still moving forward. The ending of Cell Burst and the beginning of a big competition were timed perfectly. I doubt you could have missed it, but yoyogames is holding another big competition. This time the theme is Ancient Civilizations and the prizes are the same as from the winter comp.

The timing was too perfect, and I happen to have a great idea so…

Here you go. It’s a Micro-screen. Every time I blog, I’ll post a bigger and bigger screen.

Can’t really see much, but then again your not supposed to be able to. I won’t release the name for it yet either. Maybe I’ll do that in the next blog.

“Just in case I don’t see you again! Good afternoon, good evening, and goodnightâ€?

aww man! I love crazy platform shooter games. :P

I loved Cell Burst, it was definately the best gamemaker game I've ever played. It was even better than a few proffessionally made games IMO. Great job! I am now an official fan of your workings.
