Blog Entry Badges?

Posted by foslock on Oct. 23, 2006, 7:41 p.m.

I was just browsing the badge archive and I was wondering what happened to the blog entry badges:

- 250

- 150

- 100

- 50

- 15

- 5

Sorry if I wasn't supposed to be browsing around back there… but I couldn't help but wonder.

Other Stuff: I just submitted another example to 64Digits, my destructable terrain example. It's old and uses objects splitting into smaller objects but it runs and noobs might find a use for it. Also, it reminds me of liero, a kick-a$$ DOS game.

Well, not much more for this blog except that I might be selling my old MTG rares for about $130 and I'm excited. I actually know they're worth about double or triple that, but no one is gonna buy them. Unless any of you want them :-P?

Thanks for reading, take care!

Good call, but can't the mods just own ALL of the stupid useless blogs?

KaBob799 18 years, 2 months ago

if all you had to do was remove a badge to save yourself a ton of work, would you?

Another good point.

By that logic, why wouldn't they remove the comments badge as well? Doesn't that also encourage useless spammy comments?

Because spammy comments are less often, and by this site's philosophy blogs are more important than comments.

Comments in general range from 2-10 lines, while blogs in general range from 2-10 paragraphs. Which of the two do you think will be easier to "spam up"?

Yeah, thought so :P
