Another update on the survey information for you guys: the importance of various aspects to a game. This one's a lot more comprehensive than the previous one in that results are grouped based on the community groups. If you're wondering why it's taking so long, Google Docs isn't very good at organising information. I didn't know this when I started out, so I've had to go and mix around with Excel and FileMaker to get to where I am at the moment (I've never used either before, actually).Anyway, feel free to comment on something interesting - if you're curious about some sort of possible statistical observation, let me know and I might be able to whip up a table for you.
I demand pi charts
I demand clearer pictures! clicking twice to see it is one to many clicks!
You've got some crappy personal references if they value graphics so much O_o
I hate my personal references :P
They also love violence, and while every other group is 95% or so positive for gameplay, it drops down to 67%. This is because I included a bunch of kids doing Design and Tech in the younger years at my school. I didn't realise beforehand that if they weren't rude, most of them were pretty shallow. Gives a good representation of your average 12-15-year-old's gaming preferences though.I kinda find it strange. But what about percentages on who voted?
Story on the other's pretty interesting. Could we get individual results for 64digits?Also, I find it quite ironic that GM games say that sound is a very important factor.I'll whip up a comparison set of tables between the GMC and 64D for you tomorrow :)
The one here's based on the percentage of a group that ticked the box, but I guess I should state that. And make another one showing quantity of responses from different communities, labeling what group they're from. Oh and haha, I'm not surprised about sound. At least half of the comments I've had for Eggs with Legs are complaints about its absence…Your personal contacts are fucking psychopaths.
Actually, violence should be rated much higher :)
…We're never meeting again Cesque.
Well, not on your terms, no, Ju.
