Hi, I was wondering, would it be OK to use royalty free (free to use) music, if said music was not made this month?
Can we use royalty free music for the JAM?

Absolutely - using resources is allowed as long as they weren't created with the intent to develop a specific game you were making before the competiton. Not everyone has the skills to do everything, and sometimes you can't find an artist or musician to contribute.
But I will also say that you should be careful - theres a difference between using resources and stealing content AND games that rely TOO much are usually rated lower than games with all original content.Hey, Saijee! Didn't know you were a 64D member! :)
