some criticisms, take them as you want:

smash is based around hitstun. you get hit, you get stuck in that animation. this is why no character in smash has a lot of projectiles. Link, who has the most, is limited to three at a time in the stage. This is because having a lot of projectiles at once is broken for the rest of the cast that doesn't – that means the character has a lot to watch out for so they're not hit and comboed to hell and back.

your characters have a TON of projectiles. this looks a lot more like a bullet hell game than a fighting game. are all the characters supposed to be magicians that have all these projectile powers? even myself, with all the fights i've had, HATE avoiding projectiles. it's not fun. i want to punch or kick or slice people with my sword, or do SOME kind of physical damage. having a wall of projectiles that prevents the opponent from reaching you physically again, is more like a shooting game than anything else.

needs voice acting for sure, but i'm sure you know that.

the camera moves WAY too fast. i know getting a smash camera to work at all is hard, period, but look at how Melee handles it's camera, and if you can't match that look at Brawls. Your camera looks like the cameraman can't hold the camera straight, it looks super shaky.

are all these characters supposed to be different characters with different abilities or same character with different model and same abilities? i can't tell. they all look the same height and not that different from each other.

Kudos, BIG kudos for getting this project this far. Your hard work is admirable. But I'm also worried that you'll make a game not a lot of smash fans would like, and a confusing game for others that want to pick it up.

Well, Touhou is a bullet hell game.

TSSB's gameplay is a mixture of SSBM/PM and the Touhou Fighting Games:

I am fully aware that recreating SSBM's projectile rules for this game would make it really dumb which is why this game has a projectile system that works completely different:

I assure you though, that even though projectile play has been amped up for this style of gameplay , the melee-combo game has also been improved to match it.
