You know, funny thing is I wasn't the one to expose this campaign…. Everyone is talking about it…. Just google "Touhou Smash" it goes ON FOR PAGES!!!
Lots of critique it looks like, but also a lot of attention. Bravo!
I think its come a ways from the other videos, looks like it has a lot more promise.Keep in mind though if its another flappybird-like project you may have to take it down from public distro's or change the name, but don't let that stop you cause it looks like you'll have enough interest in it and the funding seems to be going wellI dunno, ZUN seems pretty okay with people making money off of fangames. Can't imagine you'll run into copyright issues with Nintendo either, considering you're using the gameplay concept and not their characters. Regardless, have you investigated copyright issues at all? Because I'm not sure if crowdfunding on copyrighted material will warrant the same legal issues as actually making a profit, but the possibility is there and you should be prepared for it.
