GM Tech Job Available

Now, we don't normally advertise here, asking to find out if anyone is interested in joining the team. However it has come to my attention that a lot of you want to help keep this magazine running for as long as possible, and to do that, we are going to need more people helping to put together content. So I am advertising the search for a new team member here, you can ask some of the current team how they like working on the magazine, if you wish to find out some more information.

Position: Researcher

Job Description: You will be set the task each issue of researching different games and seeing which new ones have become available, and you'll gather information for the other members to make the appropriate arrangements/write appropriate pieces. However you'll also be involved in other tasks such as writing articles yourself about what you have researched. You'll be a great contribution to the team bringing in the latest news and information for the issues.

Requirements: This job requires you to be dedicated and be able to research things that you feel are of importance. It also requires you to be able to write your own content for the magazine.

Starting Date: 25th Jan 2008

Rewards:

* A 685 x 107px advert in the next issue (Double Sized Advert)

* A 178 x 60px advert at the bottom of the forum

Pshhhhh…if it weren't for the MONEY, I might help out. Unless it's an official job, I won't accept payment, especially not online. <____________<

But I might be slightly interested. Bear in mind that I have to finish a game or two, first (or at least have a working beta). It'll take the burden off of my shoulders.

@Kilin - If you don't want the money, then thats fine. These are just different rewards that you can earn through working on the magazine.

@Kilin & stampede & anyone interested - I advise you visit the forum, as there is some information on Freelance writing there. I am going to make a proper annoucement for Freelance writing, however please do check it out.

I'm interested in the job, since I have the spare time, and more than likely the capability to do some research on interesting topics.

I'd also be happy to help about. I don't exactly care for advertising, because I don't sell anything or even put up ads on my website so it is to no gain of mine if people visit. Although, I am interested in making money from this. Could you give an example of what you offer?
