I have been going through some blogs that have been posted here and it seems a lot of people are working on games.
With another YYG contest coming up shortly, how many of you are going to be stopping your work and working on a contest entry. I know not many of you like YYG, so don't normally enter their contests, but the money is not that bad if you actually win.So what are you currently working on? Are you going to be entering the next YYG contest? Post links to your blogs talking about your games, it will be great to see what everyone is working on.Also, is it just me or does there seem to be less blogs appearing around this time. It seems a lot of blogs are staying ‘Latest Blogs’ section for some time.—————————For anyone interested, GMTech is looking for some games to exclusively preview in upcoming issues. It's a great way to get free advertising - so send me a PM if you are interested in having your game in an upcoming issue.I have just seen a preview of Issue 12 and it is looking great, as always it’s content-packed.
Wait, did you just say that 64digits users should stop their games to enter a YoYoGames contest?
Given that most of our population has some form of grudge against YYG?'I have been going through some blogs that have been posted here and it seems a lot of people are working on games.'
Damnit guys, he's right.I mean, we're not a community for game making, so why is this happening?@flashback - I was asking how many people are going to, I then said 'I know not many of you like YYG'
@PY - It's not really a bad thing, just an observation I saw. It seems a lot of blogs here are like Dev Blogs. Why is gamemaker on the top right of the website? :P
Any way once they decide on the type hopefully surrealism or opposites then I'll try to make a game for teh monez. To bad the polls for voting on the theme was closed because of multiple individual votes.I'm entering Super Ninja Hunter. Check my recent blogs. :)
Guess I've been largely responsible for this with my 10-blog series of daily devlogs for Nebraska Newton, my Ancient Civilization comp entry. But yeah, this is a good time for devving.
It's my last hurrah before I put away Game Maker.
@ Polystyrene Man - Glad to see progress on that , if you want a nice spread in GMTech then contact me. After all the work you did on the mag it will be nice to repay you.
