Old Game = New

I have submitted for a name change. Finally! I still haven't made a decent banner, though.

Does anyone know how to get GM7 pro on a flash drive? What file or whatever does it check to know to be pro or not? Is there a hidden file somewhere?

So um yeah…

My old wip, http://64digits.com/games/index.php?cmd=view_game&id=2206.

I am redoing it. It now has decent grfx, 60 fps, shadows, alpha channels, and most things are destructible.

Comparisons:

New, improved Armored Offense screenshot:

Look better?

It shouldn't take me much longer to get a beta since all I have to do is program. The game play is also a lot better since I have changed the fps to 60 and made the turret face the mouse.

What is the best theme for FFX? I like the ones that look like Vista.

Gah I'm hungry!

That improved screenshot looks much better. You should make it so that the tank leaves track marks in the dirt as it moves along =D

You forgot shadows on the trees.

I do have tank tracks when you turn going a certain speed.

Tree shadows…. how exactly would I do that? For the rocks I draw the shadow in the rock object. But for trees, I couldn't do that because then the depth would be messed up.

Well, GM7 uses softwrap, which not only uses a file in the all users douments and settings folder, but a softwrap registry and maybe a gm registry.

i know this cause when my game maker got corrupter i had to delete that registry and the file that stores the registered info of some sort.
