Has anyone ever made a good sport game on GM?

I made a sick nasty football game which was amazing, but dev stopped due to lack of interest. I might upload it to show what it could do.
Sports are quite difficult to recreate due to lots of rules which need advanced programmings as well as a.i. but games such as tennis, and a simple form of football is quite possible (and has been done quite well might I add..)
I might attempt one after I finish my RPG. But I'm not sure, it seems like it would take forever.

there are some soccer games around, lots of racing, but american football is too complicated for GM programmers, nobody has completed one of those.
I'd like to see a good baseball game in GM, but RetroVortex is right, they are very difficult to program.
Sports games aren't made much in the GM community because people don't want to take the time. Making a sports game would be challenging, but not the Mt. Everest people make it out to be.
I think American Football would be the hardest to make, with Lacrosse up there. They would require a lot of debugging and patience, as well as GML knowledge.
