Today in school was so much fun. There is a school in our county where we send all of the bad kids. This year it was our turn to host a basketball game between some of the seniors at my school versus their best. The game started during 4th period, which for me today was "specialty sports." which is just an excuse to play football. Because it rained so much the night before, we stayed inside and watched the basketball game. My teacher for that class is also the head basketball coach for our school :)

Anyway, I got to get out of class to help set up the gym for the game. Then I got to watch the game. I know practally everybody that was playing in the game for our team, so it was fun to watch. If anybody would get on a fast break people would go up for these sick dunks :0 Everybody in the student section would go crazy.

Anyways, it turns out we lost, but there was only 1-12 varsity players actually playing on the team for that game.

During timeouts, people would blast music through the speakers. One kid snuck back there and put in his ipod :). The crowd was jumpin and screaming when the music came on that the refs told us to quiet down because the players couldnt hear their coach.

I cant wait till basketball season, Im trying out for the team, but im not sure if ill make it. Our basketball program is very good and a lot of the local papers picked us to win our states.
